Hobart City Mission Moonah Mega-Store is looking for a positive, hands-on, people-focused Store Manager to guide and support our fantastic team of staff and volunteers. If you enjoy connecting with others, making a real difference, and bringing a sense of fun to the workplace, this could be the role for you. Plus, you will easily hit your 10,000 steps a day without even trying!

     

About the role:

  • Build trusting, honest relationships with employees, volunteers, customers and donors
  • Support and guide your team through coaching and leadership, motivating them to deliver excellent customer service and providing feedback through reviews and regular supervision
  • Oversee daily tasks of Store Supervisors and Assistant Store Supervisors ensuring the team is empowered and stock is ordered, priced,merchandised and rotated
  •

  • Previous retail experience, with a strong understanding of customer service, stock presentation, and day-to-day store operations
  • Proven experience leading large volunteer teams, with the ability to motivate, guide, and support people from diverse backgrounds
  • Hands-on and practical, with confidence managing the daily flow of a busy retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Collaborative, values-driven, and committed to empowering others while championing our mission with integrity and purpose
