As we continue to expand our commercial practice, we are
looking for a Junior Commercial Lawyer who is eager to learn, develop,
and build a strong foundation in corporate and commercial law.
The Role
You’ll join the commercial team as a junior lawyer,
working closely with senior lawyers and the Managing Partner on a broad range
of transactional and advisory matters.
This is a hands-on role where you will be given real
responsibility early, with the support and guidance needed to develop into a
well-rounded commercial solicitor.
What You’ll Do
Commercial & Advisory Work
- Assist with advising clients on general commercial matters
- Support on business structuring, governance and day-to-day legal issues
- Work closely with senior lawyers on client matters
Drafting & Transactions
- Draft and review a range of business agreements
- Assist on mergers & acquisitions matters
- Work on commercial and retail leases
- Support on insolvency and business advisory matters
Client Exposure
- Work with a mix of small to medium-sized business clients across various industries
- Attend client meetings and build confidence in client interaction
- Support ongoing advisory relationships with clients
What We’re Looking For
- 0-2 years PQE
- Exposure to commercial law in private practice (preferred)
- Strong interest in corporate/commercial work
- Good drafting and communication skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
