We’re growing our project delivery capability and are looking for Project Managers to support a range of renewable energy projects across our portfolio.
We’re open to people with different backgrounds, strengths and levels of experience, and anticipate appointing more than one PM across permanent and fixed-term engagements.
These Project Management roles are hands-on and for people who enjoy complex projects, dynamic environments, and working closely with others to get things done.

As a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering renewable energy projects from development through to construction and commissioning.
You will be involved at varying levels in:
- Managing multiple contracts with suppliers, contractors and delivery partners
- Leading project teams, scheduling, budgets, risk and change control
- Ensuring industry leading HSEQ outcomes are achieved
- Managing stakeholders across partners, regulators, landowners, iwi and communities
- Providing timely and high quality project reporting for management and external parties
- Overseeing construction activities, logistics and procurement
- Working with and improving internal project management systems and processes that can be replicated across the portfolio
- Supporting commercial negotiations, and ensuring contractual outcomes are aligned with project outcomes and have partner acceptable risk/reward for project success
- Ensuring compliance with consent conditions and regulatory requirements
- Leading JV and partnership governance committee meetings
- Ensuring project finance interfaces and reporting requirements are met
What We’re Looking For
We’re interested in people who bring strong project fundamentals, sound judgement and a collaborative mindset.
You will ideally have experience in elements of the below (required experience will vary based on specific projects):
- Delivery of renewable energy projects (wind, solar, electrical, grid connection or similar large infrastructure projects)
- Construction and labour force management
- Vendor, supplier and logistics management
- Land or site screening, development and consenting, or demonstrated understanding and compliance with project consents.
- Contract management
- Management of government funded or project financed projects
- Core competencies we value:
- Schedule, cost, risk and change management
- Contract management and commercial acumen
- Stakeholder influencing and relationship management
- Problem-solving in complex or ambiguous and dynamic environments
- A strong understanding of project management systems, governance and delivery frameworks
Experience & Background
- We’re open to a range of experience levels (5 years minimum), from solid mid-career PMs through to highly experienced project leaders (15 years +) who have delivered large infrastructure or renewable projects.
- We’re also open to a range of qualifications (engineering, trade, or project management backgrounds all considered).
- Experience delivering renewable or energy projects in New Zealand and/or Australia is advantageous.
