Business Development Manager – Waste Solutions
Full-Time | National Role
About the Role
We are seeking a proven, results-driven sales professional to take ownership of the Waste Solutions pipeline and revenue growth.
This is a front-line, new business role. The core expectation is simple:
build pipeline, win work, and deliver revenue.
This role will require regular and ongoing travel across key growth regions to develop relationships and convert opportunities.
Role Expectations
You will be expected to:

Proactively generate new business opportunities (not rely on inbound or existing accounts)

Build and maintain a strong, active sales pipeline at all times
-
Drive opportunities from first contact through to close

Convert pipeline into measurable revenue outcomes
-
Travel consistently to meet customers and progress deals
-
Maintain structured pipeline management and forecasting discipline
-
Take full ownership of activity levels, pipeline health, follow up and results
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Only candidates who can demonstrate the below will be considered:

Proven experience in B2B sales with a strong new business focus

Demonstrated success in building pipeline and closing deals consistently

Experience managing the full sales cycle (prospecting → closing)

Ability to engage and influence external stakeholders and decision-makers
-
Strong commercial awareness (pricing, margin, deal structuring)

Willingness and ability to travel regularly as part of the role

A track record of owning targets and delivering results
If you have not been directly responsible for generating new business and closing deals, this role will not be suitable.
