Our Creative Technology team are currently looking for a Campus Creative Technology Oversight to join the team at our Melbourne City Campus. This role will be responsible for the leadership, excellence, and spiritual stewardship of all creative technology environments across the campus. This includes audio, video, lighting, staging, and associated systems, as well as the leadership and development of the teams that serve within these areas. This role sits at the intersection of technical excellence, people leadership, and ministry, ensuring that Creative Technology serves the mission of the church, supports campus and national initiatives, and enables distraction-free, faith-filled worship and gatherings.

LEADERSHIP
- Recruit, train, and develop volunteers within Creative Technology teams, coaching leaders and operators and identifying future leaders.
- Set and communicate a clear vision and expectations for how Creative Technology serves worship, ministry, and mission.
- Create a culture of excellence, ownership, humility, collaboration, and servant-hearted leadership.
- Foster strong alignment with campus leadership, creative teams, and other ministry departments.
- Address conflict and wellbeing concerns with wisdom and grace, in collaboration with campus leadership.
- Ensure team culture reflects the values, faith, and heart of the church.
TECHNICAL OVERSIGHT
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, staging, and control systems used on campus, including Festival Hall & HUB building.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, particularly in live-service and event environments.
- Oversee system configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and documentation of all technology related equipment in the campus.
- Ensure systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with national standards where applicable.
- Demonstrate a commitment to staying current with emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
- Proactively broaden personal and team skillsets to meet evolving ministry needs.
MANAGEMENT
- Manage rosters, workflows, and service coverage to ensure sustainable and excellent delivery.
- Collaborate with the National Creative Technology team on budgets related to Creative technology, incl. equipment, maintenance, & projects.
- Establish and maintain clear systems, processes, and standards for all technical areas.
- Ensure compliance with WHS, electrical safety, and venue regulations.
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, and integrators where required.
- Support campus venue operations and contribute to building and infrastructure projects from a Creative Technology perspective.
- Be aware of and able to navigate the ongoing relationship with Live Nation as pertains to the use of Festival Hall.
NATIONAL & STRATEGIC CONTRIBUTION
- Support and deliver on national events and initiatives, including Hillsong Conference (HSC), Sisterhood Conference, Christmas Carols, Faith Mission Partners events, and other national gatherings as required
- Provide Creative Technology support to other campuses on occasion.
- Align campus systems and practices with national standards and direction.
- Contribute to campus venue and building projects on occasion, ensuring Creative Technology is thoughtfully integrated from design through delivery.
Ideally, the successful candidate will bring:
- Relevant qualification in Creative Technology, Live Production, Audio Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing audio, video, lighting, staging, and control systems in live service or event environments.
- Proven experience leading and developing volunteer teams, including training and rostering.
- Ability to troubleshoot and deliver effectively in live and high pressure settings.
- Working knowledge of WHS, electrical safety, and venue compliance requirements.
