About the role

Several Manufacturing Operations Assistant roles are available at Hidrive in Goulburn. Join a motivated team and start your career in the metal trades/automotive industry. The following full time, permanent roles are available on our morning shift: Fabricator/Welder, Accessories Installer Pre-Assembly and Skinning.

Responsibilities may include

• Work as part of established fabrication team
• Aluminium and steel MIG welding
• Drilling, folding and guillotine work
• Parts assembly work
• Door hanging
• Panel fixing
• Outer casing and door skin manufacturing
• Maintain our clean and new work environment
• Reading detailed factory drawings

Your skills & experience

• Trade qualification is beneficial but not essential, however experience in “hands on” work would be highly regarded
• Forklift license beneficial
• Ability to maintain efficient workflow and high standard of production
• A keen eye for detail and logical approach to problem solving
• Willingness to learn and become multi-skilled
• Strong team player
• Problem solving mindset
• Team focused, wanting to work in a great culture
• Ability to maintain efficient workflow and high standard of production
