Description

Hicks Civil and Mining require an HSE Manager in a permanent full-time capacity. The role’s main work location is Perth CBD, however regular travel to the Port Hedland office and site are required.

All candidates must possess the right to work in Australia. A pre-employment medical and police clearance are required for this role.

Reporting to the General Manager, this function’s core responsibilities consist of:

  • Leading the HSE team and any escalation
  • Manage full-cycle injury management and return to work processes
  • Oversee and/or perform incident investigations as required
  • Ensure the validity of training and certification requirements for all projects
  • Provide input and specialist advice within all tenders
  • Education and licensing pre-requisites:

  • HSE Management Diploma (or alternative)
  • Cert IV – Training and Assessment
  • Lead Auditor Skill Set
  • ICAM Investigator Certification
  • Experience pre-requisites:

  • 2+ years’ management experience
  • 5+ years’ related industry experience
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office 365 Suite, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams.
