Summary:

The Front of House Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospitality venue in Sydney. This position is responsible for overseeing the front of house team, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front of house staff, ensuring high standards of service are maintained.
  • Manage guest relations, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee the reservation system and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
  • Train and develop front of house staff, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of front of house supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Implement and uphold health and safety regulations within the venue.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special events and promotions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a front of house capacity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in team management.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the hospitality sector.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
