Mental Health Professional – Gunnedah or Narrabri

Full-time | Permanent | $28–$36 p/h

HealthWISE is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to provide evidence-based therapeutic care to people experiencing moderate to severe and complex mental health conditions in Gunnedah or Narrabri.

In this rewarding role, you’ll deliver person-centred, trauma-informed interventions and collaborate with GPs, allied health providers, and community services to support recovery and wellbeing.

About the Role:

  • Provide individual and group clinical mental health services
  • Conduct risk assessments and deliver outcome-focused therapy
  • Work closely with GPs, support coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Use outreach, telehealth, and in-person services to increase access
  • Promote recovery through early intervention and holistic care

About You:

  • Current registration with AHPRA, AASW, or ACA
  • Experience delivering clinical mental health services
  • Skilled in managing people at risk of self-harm or suicide
  • Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
  • Driver’s licence, WWCC, and National Police Check required
