HealthWISE | Communications Team

HealthWISE is seeking an innovative and technically skilled Marketing & Communications Officer to strengthen our online presence and support meaningful connections between our services, communities and partners.

This role has a strong focus on social media management, website maintenance and optimisation, and the planning, delivery and evaluation of targeted recruitment and awareness campaigns. Working across regional and rural contexts, you will help ensure HealthWISE communications are clear, accessible and community‑centred, supporting service uptake and organisational growth.

You will play a key role in translating complex health systems into practical, easy‑to‑navigate information, while bringing fresh ideas and a thoughtful, data‑informed approach to how we engage with clients, potential employees and stakeholders. The role offers a dynamic mix of strategic contribution and hands‑on, creative delivery within a collaborative communications team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and enhancing HealthWISE’s social media presence to improve reach, engagement and brand awareness
  • Maintaining and updating website content to ensure accuracy, accessibility and a positive user experience
  • Designing and delivering campaigns that support workforce recruitment, service awareness and community engagement
  • Applying place based and community first approaches to messaging across regional and rural areas
  • Using analytics and insights to evaluate performance and continuously improve digital communication efforts
  • Providing practical communications advice and support to teams across the organisation
  • Supporting photography and videography at events and activities when required
