Yardperson

We’re looking for a reliable Yard Person to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting daily operations in a busy yard environment.

About the role: You’ll be responsible for keeping the yard organised, equipment ready, and materials moving. If you’re someone who takes pride in a tidy, efficient workspace and can stay on top of multiple tasks, this will suit you.

 Key responsibilities:

• Maintain yard cleanliness and organisation
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Delivering and picking up materials / tools on projects around Mackay
• Prepare tools and equipment for crews when required.
• General labouring and yard duties
• Follow all safety procedures and site requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar yard role
• Forklift ticket
• Hold a full and current driver’s licence.
• Able to deliver outstanding service
• A capability to undertake physical tasks safely
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
• Ability to work independently as well as contribute as a team member

In addition to manufacturing HBT longwall equipment, HBT also manufactures high-quality OE parts and provides world-class support services for their equipment to ensure their customers succeed.

HBT Services QLD is responsible for the overhauls of longwall machinery and operates under three (3) plants, being Overhauls, Gearbox repairs and Warehouse.
