Supervisor Repairables

The Repairs Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all repairs and local manufactured components are repaired/built in a safe and efficient manner. The Repairs Supervisor will also be responsible for managing a team ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

·Develop and maintain compliance of AS3800 Electrical Equipment, and company regulatory requirements.

·Oversee the build, maintenance, and repair of repairable systems and equipment, including valves and cable making

·Manage a team and ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.

·Develop and implement repair and exchange programs to ensure the reliability and safety of equipment.

·Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

·Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and implement effective solutions.

·Provide technical guidance and support to staff members.

·Develop and maintain documentation, schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance records.

Qualifications and previous Knowledge:

Electrical certifications/licenses as required by state or local regulations (AS3800 qualified)

·Proven experience as a Supervisor

·Minimum of a Trade Qualification

·Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and regulations.

·Excellent leadership and communication skills.

·Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

·Commitment to safety and quality.

·Ensure high quality trades work.  

·Experience with equipment in underground Coal Mines.

·Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

·Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

·Ability to work well within a team.
