Hampton Swim School, located in South East Brisbane, is redefining the swim school experience. We are seeking a Service Coordinator to provide a safe, well-run and service-driven swim school experience by leading on pool deck, supporting and developing teachers, caring for families, and actively delivering and modelling outstanding swim lessons – nurturing, achieving and celebrating success with our teachers and families.
This role is permanent part time, 10-15 hours a week, and includes weekend shifts. Our weekends are high-energy, team-oriented and purpose-driven, with strong customer attendance, consistent lesson blocks and meaningful connection with families.
This offers predictable hours and stability, while leaving some weekdays free for study, family commitments, personal projects or other work.

The Service Coordinator is a leadership-focused role in our swim school’s operations, with autonomy to make decisions and accountability for delivering exceptional outcomes to our standards. You will critically contribute to our customer experience, program coordination, team support, and daily facility management.

Responsibilities
Own the Customer Experience
- Contribute to the positive experience of the customer journey from enquiry through to
enrolment, progression and retention
- Proactively respond to and resolve customer enquiries, bookings, payments and account
matters
- Build strong relationships with families
- Support customers and enhance their experience
Daily Program Coordination
- Own daily class preparation, setting teachers and students up for success
- Optimise class flow for class and swimmer progress
- Coordinate trials, enrolments, graduations and program rollovers
- Coordinate external OSHC student movements through collection and delivery
Drive Team Accountability & Communication
- Lead daily team huddles and ensure clear communication of goals
- Support teachers to maintain high standards and lead by example
- Address issues, provide feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement
Own Administration & Operational Accuracy
- Manage email, phone and other communication
- Maintain accurate records and operational systems, and complete daily reporting
- Identify and resolve gaps, errors or risks for improvement
Ensure Facility Readiness, Safety & Presentation
- Ensure the centre is fully prepared for daily operations, including setup and
pack-down
- Complete daily facility checks, safety standards and uplift of centre presentation
- Identify and resolve maintenance, safety or cleanliness issues
About You
You may be an experienced swim teacher or pool deck supervisor looking for your next step, or you may have transferrable industry related experience that you can bring to Hampton Swim School.
You take pride in ownership, act with initiative, and are driven to deliver 6 Star standards and exceptional experiences for every family and team member. You understand the value of building long-term relationships – with families, teachers and the leadership team.
