We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Project Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract. This role will play a key leadership role in delivering a healthcare SaaS application and supporting digital transformation initiatives across the healthcare sector.
This is an urgent requirement, and we are looking for someone who can commence as soon as possible.
The role offers flexibility to be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.
We strongly encourage Registered Nurses and experienced healthcare professionals with project management experience to apply.
About the role
• Lead end-to-end healthcare technology projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality parameters
• Provide strong project governance and leadership across cross-functional healthcare teams
• Develop and manage detailed project plans aligned with organisational PMO frameworks and healthcare compliance requirements
• Drive stakeholder engagement across clinical, operational, and executive teams
• Ensure project outcomes align with strategic healthcare objectives and measurable benefit realisation
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party healthcare technology providers
• Oversee implementation of healthcare applications and infrastructure initiatives
• Lead organisational and technical change management activities within clinical environments
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, particularly those impacting patient care, compliance, and operational continuity
• Facilitate effective communication across internal stakeholders, external vendors, and regulatory bodies where required
• Ensure documentation, governance artefacts, and reporting meet healthcare and IT audit standards
About you
• Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering complex cross-functional projects across the full project lifecycle
• Demonstrated experience in healthcare or aged care environments is mandatory
• Proven experience managing healthcare technology implementations, including clinical systems, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives
• Strong background in stakeholder engagement within clinical and operational healthcare settings
• Experience developing business cases and managing budgetary and resource constraints
• Experience working within structured PMO frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to drive change in regulated healthcare environments
