HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR

Silverband Lodge is tucked away in the heart of the Grampians/Gariwerd. It is a peaceful retreat surrounded by native wildlife and wide open space. From school camps, and group retreats, to family getaways, we take pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment for every guest.

We are currently recruiting for a part time Housekeeping Supervisor to assist with leading our dedicated team of housekeeping staff for a fixed term 12 month contract, with a minimum of 22 hours per week.

The role ensures Silverband Lodge delivers a clean, comfortable and welcoming experience for all guests by overseeing housekeeping operations, working closely with the broader team to maintain our exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise housekeeping staff, providing daily direction, task allocation, and on the job support
• Ensure housekeeping standards are met
• Train and induct new staff members
• Maintain high presentation standards across all guest areas
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and risk management procedures.
• Assist with event or group set up, pack down and reset

About you:

• Strong attention to detail with high standards
• Skilled in coordinating workflows and supporting team members during busy periods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with a diverse team
• Demonstrated experience in housekeeping operations within accommodation or hospitality settings
• First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Safe Food Handling Cert or equivalent

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, and collaboratively, in a fast paced environment, with proven experience supervising staff, allocating tasks, and maintaining high service standards. You’ll be positive, reliable and details driven and able to demonstrate your proactiveness, adaptability and problem solving skill set.

Previous experience in camp or accommodation settings is welcomed, but a great attitude is just as important.
