THE ROLE
Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a Lubrication Technician – Service Truck to join the Hallett Maintenance team on a permanent basis. In this hands-on role, you’ll carry out scheduled servicing and minor maintenance across equipment within the Hallett Group of Companies, helping keep our operations running safely and efficiently. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain our fleet brand including Volvo, Liebherr, John Deere, Hitachi, CAT, Komatsu + more
- Work closely with tradespersons and provide hands-on support when needed.
- Build constructive working relationships with other Hallett Group department personnel
- Ensure the service truck is stocked with correct levels of oil/grease/fuel.
QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | SKILLS:
- Strong safety focus, assessing risk and putting appropriate controls in place.
- Light vehicle mechanic or mechanically minded and able to carry out minor repairs.
- Have experience in a similar role working on lubrication and hydraulic systems.
- A current and valid manual HR driver’s license.
- Current white card
- Physically fit, must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing.
- Experience servicing heavy plant & equipment and on Highway trucks/trailers.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work without direct supervision.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of power tools, hand tools, lubrication types, sampling, storage, filtration, and dispensing.
