Gunn Agri Partners was established in 2013 and provides agricultural investment and farm management services for Australian, North American and European investors.
Gunn Agri Partners manages over $1.2bn of assets and commitments managed across five investment platforms. Gunn Agri manages agriculture assets Australia wide in mixed farming, grains, grass fed protein, tree nuts, stone fruit and natural capital.
We are now seeking a Senior Analyst – Asset Management to support investment performance across our mixed farming and natural capital portfolios, partnering closely with asset managers and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial analysis, modelling and insights.
About the Role
As Senior Analyst – Asset Management, you will play a key role in supporting the performance and development of Gunn Agri’s operating platforms.
This role is responsible for delivering robust financial modelling, performance analysis and reporting across a diverse portfolio of agricultural and natural capital assets. You will work closely with the team to provide insights that support investment decisions, capital allocation and operational performance.
You’ll balance detailed analytical work with stakeholder engagement, contributing to investment cases, reporting frameworks and strategic initiatives. Working collaboratively with asset managers, finance and senior leadership, you’ll help drive data-led decision-making and continuous
improvement across the portfolio.
Based in Bondi Junction, this role suits a commercially-minded analyst with strong modelling capability and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Analysis & Modelling
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models (including integrated
three-way models)
• Support investment analysis across acquisitions, divestments and asset
management initiatives
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to support capital allocation
decisions
• Prepare investment papers, summaries and recommendations
Performance Analysis & Reporting
• Analyse key drivers of financial, operational and natural capital
performance
• Build and enhance reporting frameworks across assets and platforms
• Extract, consolidate and interpret data to deliver actionable insights
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities to support decision-making
Project Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement
• Contribute to due diligence and investment-related projects
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support outcomes
• Build strong working relationships across asset management, finance and
operations.
About You
You are a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with data to drive real-world outcomes.
You will bring:
• 3–5+ years’ experience in an analytical, investment or financial role
• Strong financial modelling capability (advanced Excel essential)
• Experience in corporate, investment or professional services environments
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• High attention to detail with a proactive and curious mindset
Experience within agriculture, agribusiness, natural capital or asset management will be highly regarded.
