About Us Bistro Guillaume is situated on Melbourne’s Southbank Promenade; this beautifully appointed venue is inspired by France’s Bistronomy. Our Approach to food is French Casual Dining – refined and inventive food with a relaxed attitude. A blend of bistro and gastronomy known as Bistronomy. We are currently looking for a cook to join our Team. Ideal Candidates will have: • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in A la Carte Restaurant • Casual role only to start • French food experience is preferable but not essential • Strong-work ethic • Ability to work in a high paced kitchen • Attention to details • Excellent time Management skills and Organization • Follow and enforce kitchen procedure • 5 days roster Monday to Sunday Duty and responsibility include but not limited to: • Assisting with the preparation, cooking and presenting high quality dishes • Performing new cooking techniques and adopting these to ensure continuous improvement • Assisting the weekly ordering, stock delivery, closing procedure • Assisting to liaise with the maintenance department on any ongoing issue with the premises • Ensuring the kitchen equipment are kept in appropriate working condition and cleanliness • Ensuring the Temperature control of food and fridges are monitored and up to date In return we offer: • Fun and supportive work environment • Excellent pay conditions • Excellent Training • Close to Public Transport • Flexible working hours • Staff Canteen within the Crown resorts brand. • Must be able to submit a fit2work police check.
