We’re seeking a dedicated Team Leader with a background in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling to lead and grow a high‑performing team in Perth, while maintaining hands‑on clinical
involvement.
What you’ll do

Lead with Heart: Inspire and manage a team of Rehabilitation Consultants
helping them thrive in their roles and support our clients in achieving
their goals. The role will involve recruiting and onboarding new team
members.

Mentor Extraordinaire: Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, quality assurance
and support to team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.

Performance Guru: Monitor team workloads and performance ensuring teams are
achieving outcomes, targets, celebrate wins, and conduct regular
performance reviews.

Client Hero: Manage a small caseload of clients providing rehabilitation services
including; vocational assessments and counselling, adjustment to injury
counselling and case management.

Business Development: Support business growth alongside the WA leadership team.

Who we are
Custodian Work Assist is a workplace rehabilitation provider with offices in WA and NT. We are accredited with WorkCover WA, NT WorkSafe and Comcare. We specialise in return-to-work services for Workers’ Compensation, CTP, and Life Insurance schemes. We aim high, stay humble, and keep people at the centre of everything we do.
We’re part of the HealthEx Group, working closely with Guardian Exercise Rehabilitation, Verde Nutrition Co and Rapport Psychology. Nationally, we are a team of over 190 allied health professionals committed to quality, integrity and making a genuine difference.
About you
- Tertiary qualified in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work.
- Registered with AHPRA (provisional accepted), ASORC or AASW.
- At least 2 years’ experience working as a Rehabilitation Consultant.
- Demonstrated leadership skills or mentoring skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and perform to a high standard.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Able to manage competing priorities and perform at a high standard.
