Located in Ballarat, we are looking for a suitably qualified and motivated part time HR Coordinator to join our team. About the role: This position will provide hands-on support across talent acquisition, people, systems, internal communications and engagement initiatives.  You will act as a trusted first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring people related queries are responded to accurately and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Key Performance Areas:         Recruitment Coordination: –       Supporting end to end recruitment by posting ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, preparing employment agreements, managing pre-employment checks and ensuring a seamless and positive onboarding experience for every new employee. –       Coordination of onboarding inductions, IT, payroll and other relevant stakeholders. –       Facilitate structured and compliant offboarding by coordinating end-to-end exit processes including resignation documentation and exit interviews –       Manage the HR Inbox and respond to employee and stakeholder enquiries regarding HR policies and procedures –       Maintain accurate employee records and taking ownership of data entry within our HRIS (Employment Hero)        Compliance and Support: –       Assisting with the practical application of HR policies and ensuring all documentation meets current employment legislation standards. –       Coordinate documentation for employee relations matters and support performance and grievance discussions under the guidance of the relevant Director or manager. –       Ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirements. What sets you up for success… our ideal candidate •Must be seeking a part-time opportunity (min 3 days per week) – applications considered on this basis only •Tertiary qualification (Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources ) is essential •3+ years experience in a HR role and sound understanding of HR Practices •Exposure to Australian legislation and awards •Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport at all levels. •Excellent Organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. •Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. •Resourceful problem solver with strong attention to detail. •Exceptional verbal & written communication skills. •Comfort with Microsoft office suite of products and ability to familiarise self with new systems and infrastructure quickly (experience with Employment Hero desired but not essential) This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work part time flexible hours (school hours) or returning to work from leave who wants to be a part of a progressive and dynamic company with a collaborative and supportive culture.  If you enjoy being at the centre of coordination, contributing meaningfully to employee experience, creating structure and supporting people during their employment journey — we would love to hear from you.
