Job Summary:
- Gain a Certificate III in Business (BSB30120) upon completion
- 12 month duration, Office hours, 1-2 days per week
- Must be currently attending Year 11 or 12 in a Tasmanian-based school
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a School-Based Business Trainee. This role is an expression of interest only, as we are currently gathering potential candidates for future traineeship opportunities. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to complete an accredited qualification while gaining practical experience in data entry and general administrative tasks within the engineering industry.
Skills:
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
– Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
– Effective written and verbal communication abilities
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
– Basic knowledge of administrative procedures and systems
Responsibilities:
1. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
2. Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning documents, etc.
3. Maintain records and databases by updating information regularly.
4. Support the team in coordinating meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, etc.
5. Communicate effectively with internal staff members regarding any administrative matters or queries.
6. Participate actively in training programs provided by the company to enhance professional development.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
