Our family owned WA based business established in 1991 has supplied a huge range of delicious baked treats to both major an independent supermarkets nationwide. Our team is now reaching 100 employees across various roles in the production factory, sales team, support services and operations… with all of the exciting new projects ahead of us, our search for the right people will steer us in the right direction to grow even further!
Our fast paced and busy team is growing and has the need to an experienced Stores Person/ Dispatch Officer to join our busy Supply Chain Team.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience working in a high-volume Stores or Dispatch role is essential.
- Forklift license and experience will be favored.
- Ability to work independently and with strong initiative is essential.
- Experience in managing inventory, receiving goods, picking orders and managing truck deliveries is essential.
- Physical capability to load trucks, use pallet jacks and manage stock rotation and is essential.
Tasks & responsibilities
- This is a physical role with regular heavy lifting requirements (up to 20kgs) moving bulk ingredients and stock which is currently very manual.
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork within team to ensure the speed and accuracy of inventory and stock is maintained.
- Use of industrial ovens and baking machinery, requiring strong attention to detail and initiative on a daily basis.
- Solid experience in stock control, stores and dispatch is essential in this role with the ability to work autonomously with initiative.
