Description

Godolphin is currently seeking an experienced Gardener to join our team at Kelvinside, located in Aberdeen NSW.

Reporting to the Head Gardener, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of the property’s gardens, outdoor and recreational areas. Working across all areas of the stud farm, you will help ensure all lawns, landscaped areas and surrounds are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain gardens, lawns, landscaped areas, and surrounds to a high presentation standard
  • Operate and maintain gardening equipment and irrigation systems
  • Carry out mowing, pruning, hedging, and seasonal garden maintenance
  • Monitor plant and turf health, including planting, weed, pest, and disease control
  • Support the Head Gardener in maintaining safe work practices and overall site presentation

Skills & Experience

The ideal applicant will be organised, efficient and motivated with a strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.

  • A genuine passion for horticulture and a strong eye for detail
  • Relevant horticulture qualifications (preferred)
  • Minimum of three years’ practical experience in a similar role (preferred)
  • Current Chemical Certificate (preferred but not essential)
  • A strong work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
