About the role: We’re on the hunt for a Marketing Director (12 Maternity Cover) to join our very talented team. Reporting to the CMO, you’ll be responsible for leading Go-To’s entire marketing function — from big-picture brand strategy to day-to-day execution.
At Go-To, we make uncomplicated skincare your skin actually likes but more importantly, over the last 12 years we’ve built a brand people genuinely love.
Now, we’re building what’s next.
We’ve grown up a bit: clinically proven formulas, serious results, and a sharper, more confident look (yes, the black text. yes, the packaging). We have a strong pipeline of innovation, a broader range for more skin types – still zero fuss.
The role
You’ll lead a senior team across Digital, Brand, Creative and Content, bringing it all together into one cohesive, high-performing marketing engine.
You’ll own the execution, the results and the standard – with clear accountability for growth across brand, customer and revenue. You’re not walking into chaos. There’s a strong system, clear thinking, and a genuinely great team. This isn’t “start from scratch.”
This role is about growing customers in a competitive market where attention is earned, not given, building a brand that genuinely cuts through, and delivering commercial outcomes without defaulting to the obvious.
What you’ll do
You’ll set the direction and ensure we deliver – balancing long-term growth with what matters right now.
- Drive new customer growth in a crowded, competitive category
- Lead marketing strategy across DTC and retail
- Own the campaign calendar and deliver work that performs creatively and commercially
- Bring brand, content and digital into one cohesive go-to-market approach
- Partner closely with the CMO on planning, forecasting and performance
- Lead, develop and genuinely care for a high-performing team
- Hold an exceptionally high bar across everything we put into the world
What you’ll bring
You’re creative, commercial, highly organised, and calm when things get busy.
You’ll bring significant senior marketing experience (ideally in omnichannel consumer brands), with a proven ability to lead teams and deliver commercial outcomes. You’re a strong strategic thinker who can execute at pace, with a deep understanding of both brand building and performance marketing.
You’re confident using data to inform decisions, and you have strong judgement when it comes to prioritisation and focus.
And importantly – you have to love people. Not just managing them, but nurturing a team and culture people genuinely want to be part of.
You’ll work closely with the CMO and founder – not just executing, but contributing, shaping, and pushing the work forward. The bar is high, the pace is real, and the expectation is that you’ll bring both ideas and follow-through.
The Important Bits: Based in Surry Hills, full-time, with a flexible WFH policy. Salary is TBD depending on experience. This role sits right at the centre of how Go-To grows across brand, customer and revenue. It’s a big one.
