Your New Role

Based in our Sydney Office, this permanent full-time position is responsible for engaging with direct clients, understanding their travel needs, and providing tailored solutions to their post-reservation enquiries. Your contributions will directly impact our reputation and success in the competitive travel market. The role also provides support to the Customer Sales Manager in various duties.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide exceptional service to the direct customer once the booking is made.
  • Handle all enquiries associated with the booking, post-reservation until departure.
  • Educate customers on Gfob products, destinations, promotional activities, and generating increasing sales.
  • Provide support for overflow in the Customer Sales call centre.
  • Provide coverage and additional support to the Customer Sales Manager in the day-to-day operations of the team.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 12 months in a customer service, call-centre environment, preferably in travel.
  • Strong, confident communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers.
  • Customer-centric, results-oriented, team player with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A passion for travel and a good understanding of various destinations.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as required, including occasional evening and weekend shifts.
