Claims Officer – Employment Services

We are currently seeking a Claims Officer to support our centralised Work Retention Team at our Head Office located in Penrith.

Duties will include:

• Working closely with internal teams, participants, and employers to ensure the smooth accurate processing of all employment, education, progress and wage subsidy claims across our programs.

• Accurate record keeping supporting documentary evidence requirements for all payments.

• Create, distribute and manage wage subsidies with employers in a manner consistent with Department guidelines and DEED/Grant Agreement requirements.

• Ensuring that claims and wage subsidies are processed within mandated timeframes.

• Maintaining a thorough knowledge and adherence to relevant Deeds, Guidelines and internal policies and procedures.

Successful candidates will have the following:

• Previous experience in employment or disability employment services industry

• Strong attention to detail with intermediate numeracy skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

• Strong organisational skills

• Ability to manage and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.

• Provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Working with Children Check and other checks as deemed necessary.

• Be expected to comply with all Information Security and Privacy requirements.
