Join the Glass Outlet Team as a Warehouse Team Lead
Located at Kilburn, Adelaide, Glass Outlet is recognized Australia wide as a leader in the wholesale supply of glass, aluminum fencing, balustrading, aluminum screening, shower screens and accessories. Other distribution depots are located in QLD, NSW, VIC and WA.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position involves actively performing all core warehouse duties, including walk in trade customer pick-ups, picking and packing, and assisting with incoming goods — while also supporting the Warehouse Manager in leading and coordinating a team of approximately 8 team members.
Duties will include:
• Ensuring trade customers are served in a timely manner and to high customer service levels
• Picking and packing of orders
• Ensuring consistent productivity and efficiency of the team while achieving a high level of picking accuracy
• Ensuring outgoing goods are despatched in a timely & accurate manner
• Co-coordinating and assisting in the receiving and putting away of incoming stock
• Co-ordinate rolling stock takes with a view to ensuring stock integrity and early identification of any deficiencies in picking/systems.
• Stand in for Warehouse Manager as required
• Ensuring warehouse and yard maintained in a clean manner
• Assisting the warehouse manager developing a culture of continuous improvement and team building
• Complying with company policy and procedures
• General warehouse duties as workflow requires
• Unloading of containers
To be successful in the role, you should possess the following skills:
• Experience in a warehouse lead role with sound knowledge of the workings of a distribution business
• Excellent communication skills having regard to warehouse/office staff, customers and management
• Problem solving skills with a can do attitude
• Shown ability to lead and motivate a team
• Strong time management skills to enable execution of tasks for yourself and others
• Basic computer skills i.e., email, excel, word, etc
• Possess a current forklift license
• Current MR license viewed favourably but not essential

Work hours are 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, with warehouse opening at 7.30pm.
