Based at Dandenong South, Melbourne, Glass Outlet is recognized Australia wide as a leader in the wholesale supply of glass, aluminum fencing, balustrading, aluminum screening, shower screens and accessories.
A full-time position is now available for a motivated all-rounder Storeperson with warehousing experience.
Commencing immediately and working as part of a friendly team, you will be involved in all general day-to-day warehouse operations including (but not limited to):
• Picking and packing of orders for trade customers and inter-depot inventory transfers
• Assisting with receiving & putting away of incoming stock
• Forklift operation
• Ensure that for inward goods any discrepancies are followed up promptly
• For goods outwards, check to ensure the accuracy of picked goods by warehouse staff prior to dispatch
• General warehouse and inventory tasks as required
• Assisting in maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse
To be successful in the role, you should possess the following skills:
• Experience in a warehouse role with sound knowledge of the workings of goods in/goods out distribution business
• Good communication skills having regard to interaction with warehouse/office staff and customers
• Possess a current forklift license
