We are seeking an experienced and driven VIC State Manager Maintenance to lead our Victorian operations. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing performance, driving growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects across the state.

About the Role

Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for the overall operational and commercial performance of our Victorian business. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strong, hands-on leadership across multiple teams and sites, ensuring a high-performance culture
  • Leading and developing Operations Managers, Supervisors, and site teams
  • Ensuring all projects and maintenance contracts are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Overseeing financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and reporting
  • Managing contract compliance, invoicing, and operational reporting processes
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery
  • Supporting business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and contributing to tender submissions
  • Ensuring full compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards across all operations

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior operations, contracts, or state management role within landscaping, construction, or a related industry
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving profitability
  • In-depth knowledge of landscape construction and/or maintenance operations
  • Proven leadership capability, with experience building, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with high attention to detail
