Grounds Maintenance Team Member – City of Casey

We are currently seeking a dedicated and respectful Grounds Maintenance Team Member to join our team at the City of Casey in a full-time position.

This role is well-suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys outdoor environments, and understands the importance of maintaining a peaceful and well-presented setting.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for the ongoing care and presentation of the City of Casey, ensuring the area remains tidy, safe, and visually respectful for visitors. Your work will directly contribute to preserving the dignity and upkeep of this important community space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine mowing of lawns
  • Precision line trimming (whipper snipping)
  • General upkeep and presentation of landscaped areas
  • Safe operation and basic maintenance of equipment
  • Adhering to workplace health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card)
  • Experience with mowing and line trimming equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
