About the role

The Graphic Designer (Mid‑Weight) is responsible for delivering high‑quality, fit‑for‑purpose graphic design solutions across multiple projects and platforms, including print, digital and social media. Reporting to the Senior Designer and Workflow Manager, this role works closely with the Marketing Team and internal stakeholders to interpret briefs, develop creative concepts, and execute design outputs that align with brand strategy and guidelines.

You will contribute confidently across projects, manage your own workload effectively, and apply sound design judgement to deliver engaging, on‑brand creative outcomes. The role offers opportunities to further develop skills across digital, animation and campaign‑led design within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Review and interpret design briefs in collaboration with the Marketing and Design Team, using Monday.com to manage tasks and workflows.
  • Translate briefs into strong creative concepts and considered visual design solutions, applying brand guidelines consistently across all outputs.
  • Design, develop and deliver engaging creative assets across multiple channels, including social media, print, web and digital campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback efficiently and constructively while maintaining design integrity and brand standards.
  • Produce design outputs to a high standard, managing competing priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Create illustrations, digital assets and occasional motion/animated content using a range of design software.
  • Maintain accurate task updates and progress reporting within Monday.com.
  • Prepare branded eDMs using platforms such as Salesforce, AI and Mailchimp (training provided as required).
  • Support wider team and organisational priorities, contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and ways of working.

Selection Criteria

  • Graphic Design Qualification Degree or Diploma.
  • Minimum 2-3 years industry experience, ideally agency, studio, or in-house marketing team experience.
  • Experience with branding and brand design.
  • Experience leveraging new design tools (including AI) to enhance creative thinking, efficiency and execution.
  • Team Player with passion for great design and attention for detail.
  • Entry proficient level graphic design skill using Adobe Suite apps: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Canva.
  • Emerging level graphic design skill in Adobe Suite apps like: Animate, After Effects or other.
  • Experience with Video editing software, such as Premiere Pro or others will be an advantage.
  • Experience using EDM platforms like Pardot, Mailchimp, AI tools or others will be an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work independently as well as closely with hands-on Manager.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with a high degree of empathy, kindness, and care.

Terms of Employment

We’re seeking a part-time team member (4 days per week, 0.8 FTE) to join us at our North Sydney office, with the benefit of flexible hybrid work arrangements.
