About the Role
We are seeking an outstanding and experienced teacher to join our dynamic and internationally minded school as a Teacher of Humanities, with the ability to teach IB Diploma Programme Economics and, ideally, an interest in contributing to the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) programme.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and rigorous lessons aligned with the IB Diploma Programme
- Foster critical thinking, inquiry, and reflection in line with the IB Learner Profile
- Design and administer assessments in accordance with IB standards and requirements
- Support students’ academic, personal, and social development
- Contribute to the Theory of Knowledge programme where appropriate
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary learning and curriculum development
- Contribute actively to the wider school community
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess a strong academic background in Economics
- Have experience teaching IB Economics or comparable pre-university courses
- Be confident in teaching, or contributing to, Theory of Knowledge
- Demonstrate a passion for inquiry-based and concept-driven learning
- Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning, collaboration, and ongoing professional growth
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area (Economics, Commerce, or similar)
- Be accredited to teach in NSW (NESA Accreditation)
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
- Be a collaborative team player with a willingness to contribute to school life beyond the classroom
- Possess strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
- Hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Have full work rights in Australia
