About the Role 

We have a unique opportunity within our Sponsorship team for an early-career Analyst who is eager to grow and make their mark in the sport and entertainment industry. 

Based in the Sponsorship team, this role will work on strategy and valuation projects, helping brands make informed decisions on their sponsorship investments. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with brands to solve real business challenges through sponsorship. This is an ideal role for someone who is curious, collaborative, and motivated to build a career in sponsorship marketing. 

Responsibilities 

Commercial & Strategic Acumen 

  • Build an understanding of the sport and entertainment ecosystem, including brands, rights holders, and fans 
  • Contribute to the development of sponsorship strategies, and assist with valuation modelling and reporting 
  • Unpack complex client briefs and provide practical strategic guidance to clients  

Research & Insights 

  • Support on both qualitative and quantitative research projects 
  • Analyse data and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations 
  • Connect insights to commercial outcomes to inform and influence client decision-making 

Collaboration & Communication 

  • Work seamlessly across Gemba divisions (Client Management, Insights, Creative) 
  • Communicate findings and ideas clearly through reports, presentations, and visual storytelling 
  • Operate with a team-first mindset, while being client-aware and proactive in stakeholder engagement 

About You 

Experience 

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a related industry or role (sport or entertainment organisation, consultancy, or agency preferred) 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce, Marketing, or a related field 
  • Exposure to consultancy or agency environments is highly regarded 
  • An understanding of the Australian sponsorship and sport/entertainment landscape 

Skills 

  • Strong written communication and relationship-building skills 
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to translate insights into compelling PowerPoint presentations  
  • Highly adaptable and collaborative, with the ability to contribute effectively in multi-disciplinary teams 
  • Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills
