We’re currently looking for an experienced Contract Administrator (CA) to join our team and play a key role in driving the commercial success of our projects.
About the Role
Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects across both pre-construction and delivery phases. You’ll provide strategic commercial advice, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure strong financial and contract performance across the business unit.
Key Responsibilities Pre-Contracts & Strategy
- Contribute to feasibility studies, cost planning, and budgeting for new projects
- Review subcontract and supplier agreements
- Identify and assess commercial risks and opportunities
- Support contract negotiations and procurement strategies
- Assist with project handovers to delivery teams
Project Delivery &
Commercial Management
- Provide commercial support to Project Managers and site teams
- Oversee contract administration, reporting, and compliance
- Manage cost forecasting, budgets, and financial performance
- Drive procurement processes and subcontractor engagement
- Support claims management, negotiations, and dispute resolution
- Conduct post-project reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Cost & Reporting
- Prepare and review monthly project cost reports and forecasts
- Monitor project valuations and proactively address issues
- Ensure accurate and timely commercial reporting
- Support audits and compliance with company systems and procedures
About You
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or similar
- 5+ years’ experience in contract administration and/or estimating within construction
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and relevant legislation
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and commercial risk
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
