About the Role

We are seeking a hands on Landscape Team Leader to join our growing team.

In this role you will lead a small crew in the installation, care and upkeep of softscapes, including planting, mulching, turfing, and irrigation systems (drip lines). You will also provide support to our hardscape team when required, assisting with any landscape construction tasks.

This position involves a mix of local work and FIFO style travel to statewide project sites as required. All travel and accommodation expenses are covered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and work alongside your team in the installation and maintenance of softscapes (plants, trees, mulch, and turf).
  • Install and maintain irrigation systems, including drip line setups and repairs.
  • Assist hardscape teams with general landscaping construction tasks when required.
  • Read and interpret landscape plans and schedules accurately.
  • Maintain safe and efficient work practices on-site.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors and team members.
  • Uphold high standards of site presentation, quality and safety.
  • Travel to statewide project sites on a FIFO basis when required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in landscaping or softscaping preferred.
  • Strong understanding of plant care, irrigation systems and general landscape maintenance.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual outdoor work.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and remote environments.
  • Current White Card and valid Driver’s Licence.
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to obtain one.
  • Willingness to travel and undertake FIFO-style work as required.
