Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of seniors? Future Supports is seeking Aged Care Personal Care Assistants to join our growing team.
We are currently looking for team members in the Bendigo area and surrounds.
Your Role: Making a Difference Every Day
Our Support Workers provide daily living support and companionship, enabling seniors to maintain their independence and comfort in their own homes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living within the client’s home.
- Providing mobility assistance to ensure safety and comfort.
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals.
- Monitoring and accurately recording changes in clients’ health.
- Assisting with light housekeeping to maintain a comfortable environment.
- Offering companionship and social engagement to foster well-being.
- Fostering a safe and comfortable environment for all clients.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to providing high-quality care.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent.
- Proven experience in providing personal care, domestic assistance, respite, and transport for aged care clients within their own homes..
- Current COVID-19 vaccination certificate (minimum 2 doses).
- Current Influenza vaccination (required annually).
- Current National Police Check.
- Current First Aid/CPR Certificate.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
- Must be available to work flexible hours.
- Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes from your home.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical and professional standards.
We also welcome applications from Support Workers with a minimum level of experience for roles primarily focused on domestic duties.
