Froebel Fitzroy North is one of five not-for-profit Froebel early learning centres in Australia, and a truly special place to work. With 69 places for children aged 6 months to 5 years, beautiful outdoor learning environments, and a newly confirmed “Exceeding” rating in all 7 NQS Quality Areas, we set the bar high — and proudly. Our program is shaped by immersive language learning (with a second language focus on German), inquiry-based learning through our Little Scientists program, and frequent excursions (including a Bush Kinder program) that connect us with our local community.

What we’re looking for:

A Certificate III qualified Early Childhood Educator (or currently working towards). We welcome applications from higher qualified candidates if open to working in a Certificate III level casual capacity.
- Someone who communicates thoughtfully and builds trusting relationships
- A team player with energy, initiative and emotional maturity
- An educator excited by immersive language learning and inquiry-based STEM (no German or Spanish required!)
- A strong understanding of and commitment to child safety and ethical practice
- Someone who is flexible with casual availability and ideally living within a reasonable distance from the centre
- And above all, someone with warmth, positivity, and a heart for children
