DELIVERY DRIVER
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods to customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading, and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. THE ROLE
The purpose of this role is to deliver product to our customers in good condition in an effective and timely manner. You will also be required to assist in the warehouse and pick orders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver products to customers as per invoice requirements, providing exceptional customer serviceTo undertake all duties in a safe responsible and courteous mannerPractice safe and correct manual handlingCorrectly present paperwork as per company proceduresOccasionally obtain and be responsible for payment from customersPicking orders among other warehouse functions in a cold store environmentKEY COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Valid light rigid license (or above) is essentialMust have experience as a Delivery DriverClean driving recordAbility to pass background check and drug testStrong customer service skillsMust possess a customer focused, positive and professional attitudeMust have a strong understanding of OHS and HACCP requirementsGood communication, time, and organisational skillsSound literacy skills and basic PC knowledgeHigh standard of personal presentationAble to work in a team environment as well as autonomouslyAccurate attention to detailForklift license is highly regarded but not essential.Physically fit to carry out the work required
