About the Role

As our full-time IT/AV Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Installing, configuring, and testing Audio/Visual devices, such as displays, cameras, microphones, audio equipment, and signage. Operating and troubleshooting AV setups for functions and live events.
  • Installing, configuring, and testing a range of computer systems, including LAN Lounge PCs, corporate PCs, point-of-sale devices, printers, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Diagnosing hardware and software faults, solving technical problems, and working with customers and employees to identify and address computer-related issues.
  • Supporting the maintenance of the PC & Console game library, involving tasks like purchasing, activation, documentation, and communication.
  • Attending meetings to review documentation and discuss audio, lighting, and video requirements, ensuring seamless integration of technology.
  • Maintaining records, analysing call logs, and identifying common trends in technical issues.
  • Providing assistance to the Technology team by managing inventory, offering general tech support, and contributing to equipment upgrades and modifications.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar hands-on role, or a degree/qualification in Audio/Visual, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong AV, technical, and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to keeping things on-brand.
  • A proactive, resilient attitude with the ability to problem-solve quickly across high-pressure, time-sensitive situations; no task too big or too small.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment with shifting priorities and a diverse group of people.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster around our events calendar, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Must have ongoing & unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
