The Role

This full-time position based at our Larapinta Head Office offers the successful candidate a challenging and fulfilling role. A key part of the Finance and Administration Team you will report directly to the Financial Controller, and will be responsible for the day-to-day reporting of financial activities ensuring the timely, accurate and complete capture of financial data.

Duties include:

• Preparation of month-end transactions and reconciliations

• Daily Bank reconciliations including foreign bank accounts

• Completion of Intercompany reconciliations

• Assisting with the fixed asset register, including sale/disposal process

• Assisting in the preparation of timely monthly management reports to Executive Management

• Assisting with the annual budget process

• Ensuring appropriate systems and internal controls are followed

• Assisting the wider Finance and Admin team as and when required

• Completion of various ad hoc tasks as required

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business, either degree or diploma.

• Ideally at least 2 year experience in a similar accounting position

• Advanced Excel skills

• An understanding of internal controls and financial reporting requirements

• Team player

• Organised with strong administration and time management skills

• Motivated and willing to learn

• Be proactive and have good problem solving skills

• Ability to deal with change and growth
