Strategic Client Leadership | Melbourne (Hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced Associate Director to take ownership of key client relationships and deliver commercial growth across our client portfolios.
The Role
This is a senior role centered on building and managing relationships across a diverse portfolio of clients. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, lead business development activity, and take accountability for the commercial performance of your accounts.
Client Leadership
- Manage and develop strategic relationships with key clients across the portfolio
- Provide strategic counsel to senior client stakeholders beyond individual project delivery
- Develop and execute account management plans with clear relationship and revenue goals
- Maintain regular client contact outside of project engagements
Commercial Performance
- Accountable for financial performance of assigned accounts against quarterly targets
- Meet proposal conversion targets across inbound and outbound opportunities
- Apply sound commercial judgment to pricing, scoping and resource decisions
- Contribute to accurate forecasting and financial planning
Business Development
- Lead proposals and pitches for new business opportunities
- Clearly articulate Forethought’s capabilities and value proposition in market
- Contribute to thought leadership and market presence within the sector
Team Development
- Manage and mentor Consultants and Graduates within the team
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance working environment
What We’re Looking For
- 6–8 years in market research consulting or a related analytics and strategy environment
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage senior client relationships
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting revenue targets
- Experience leading and developing junior team members
- Ability to translate research and data into clear strategic recommendations
- Double degree, Honours or postgraduate qualifications preferred
