BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 

The Partnerships Executive is a key operational role within the Commercial team, responsible for supporting the end‑to‑end delivery of contractual rights across Football Australia’s commercial partner portfolio. 

This role focuses on the administrative, logistical and technical coordination required to ensure partnership commitments are executed to a high standard across national teams, competitions and events. Working closely with Senior Partnerships Managers, the role supports strong partner experiences, high levels of service delivery and long‑term partner retention. 

The role plays an important part in ensuring Football Australia’s partnerships are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with contractual agreements and brand standards. 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES 

Key responsibilities include:  

  • Manage day‑to‑day administrative tasks supporting delivery of contractual partner entitlements 
  • Coordinate partnership assets including ticketing, hospitality, branding and signage 
  • Maintain accurate asset registers, delivery trackers and partnership documentation 
  • Support on‑site delivery of partner activations during match days and major events 
  • Assist with preparation of partnership delivery reports, mid‑season reviews and post‑campaign summaries 
  • Coordinate approval processes for partner creative across digital, social, broadcast and marketing channels 
  • Act as a point of contact for operational partnership queries from partners and activation agencies 
  • Maintain organised records for partnership contracts, insurance certificates and financial documentation 
  • Support Senior Partnerships Managers with account delivery and partner servicing requirements 
  • Ensure partnership delivery activities align with organisational processes and governance standards 

 

ROLE OUTCOMES/ DELIVERABLES 

Success in this role will see: 

  • High accuracy in delivery of all logistical and administrative partnership requirements 
  • Partnership assets and entitlements delivered consistently and in line with contractual agreements 
  • Efficient coordination of approvals supporting on‑time delivery of partner campaigns 
  • Well‑maintained asset trackers, delivery records and CRM data 
  • Effective operational support during match days and major events 
  • Strong internal collaboration supporting high partner satisfaction and retention 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Experience in a commercial support, partnership coordination, account management or event operations role 
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment 
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong Microsoft Office capability, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Experience using CRM, project management or asset tracking tools 
  • Experience within sport, sponsorship or live event environments is desirable 
  • Understanding of sponsorship delivery and partnership servicing requirements is desirable 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Tertiary qualification in business, marketing or a related discipline 
  • Qualifications or certifications in project management, event management or operations is desirable
