NOTE: THE EVENING ROLES WOULD SUIT SOMEONE LOOKING FOR SOME EXTRA WORK OR A YOUNG PERSON LOOKING FOR CASUAL WORK. YOU WILL BE FULLY TRAINED IN THE VARIOUS ROLES.
FULL TIME; Day Warehouse Hand/Forklift Operator
Summary:
The successful candidate will be working within a small team to manage all warehouse in and outbound stock movements as well as unpacking stock into a pick face.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise
- Load and unload trucks and containers
- Pick and pack orders
- Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring proper labelling, counting, and recording of merchandise
- Inspect and maintain the forklift to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 6am to 2:30pm
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as picking lists, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
CASUAL; Evening/Night Picker/Packer/Forklift Operator
The successful candidate will be working within a night team to pick and pack various packaged food products onto pallets, loading trucks and operating a forklift (forklift operator only) to move, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
Responsibilities
- Operating an electric pallet truck to accurately pick products from a pick sheet and neatly pack onto pallets. Products range from plant based milk, water, syrups, juice to milk, cream, cheese eggs and sauces.
- Position pallets onto trucks (Forklift operator only)
- Load stacks of milk onto trucks using a milk trolley
- Move, relocate, stack and count stock (Forklift operator only)
- Inspect and maintain forklifts to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Adhere to safety and operating procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
- Perform other duties as assigned
- EVENING SHIFTS ONLY, STARTING 5 – 6PM
- Shifts range from 4 – 6 hours long, Sunday to Friday
Qualifications
