Description

We’re looking for an experienced Buyer to join our team and help deliver a commercially strong, customer-focused product range. This role suits someone who is hands-on, highly commercial, and passionate about product development, supplier partnerships and delivering results.

About the Role You will play a key role in shaping and managing our furniture range, working closely with both local and international suppliers. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong commercial judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to balance creativity with performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage furniture product ranges aligned to customer needs and market trends
Analyse sales performance, stock levels and customer insights to inform range decisions
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, both locally and internationally
Lead commercial negotiations including cost, quality and delivery terms
Support pricing strategies, promotional planning and product launches
Manage product lifecycle, inventory levels and range optimisation
Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, marketing and operations

About You

Proven experience in buying, sourcing or product development within furniture (or closely related categories)
Hands-on experience working directly with China-based factories/suppliers, understanding production processes, materials and on-the-ground ways of working
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and trends
Confident negotiator with well-developed supplier management skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
