diversity, inclusion, and creating culturally safe environments, and who can also drive (12-seater or larger vehicles) to support our cultural, multicultural, and social support groups across South West Sydney.

About the Role
This is a unique and rewarding role combining support work, group facilitation, and
transport, helping older people stay active, socially connected, and engaged in their community.
You will support a range of cultural-specific, multicultural, and social groups,
creating welcoming environments where people feel a genuine sense of belonging.
Your day may include:
- Transporting clients to and from group programs
- Driving FOCUS Connect vehicles (12-seater or larger where licensed)
- Supporting safe boarding, travel, and drop-off
- Facilitating and supporting group activities
- Encouraging participation, connection, and inclusion
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with light personal care or daily activities where needed
What You Bring
- A genuine passion for making a difference in people’s lives
- A caring, reliable, and community-focused approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience (or interest) in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services
- Confidence working with diverse communities
- Ability to engage and support people in a group setting
Essential Requirements

A genuine commitment to diversity, inclusion, and culturally safe practice – we support people from over 80 cultural backgrounds through dedicated language groups (Arabic, Vietnamese, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Mauritian, Filipino, Lao, and Egyptian), as well as multicultural programs and individual support
- Experience in group-based programs or community transport
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence and ability to drive a 12-seater bus
- Current First Aid & CPR
- National Police Check & Working With Children Check
- Clear driving record
- Proof of working rights in Australia
- Smartphone for rostering
Desirable (but not essential)
- Multilingual capability
- Experience driving larger vehicles (e.g. 22-seater)
- Aged Care or Community Services Cert III or above
