Radiographer

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and other imaging technologies. The Radiographer will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and other imaging technologies
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process to them
• Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
• Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings to obtain high-quality images
• Analyze images to ensure they are of diagnostic quality
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses to patients
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
• Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure
• Stay up-to-date with advances in imaging technology and techniques

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
