Description

Clinical Director

Lead the Future of Allied Health in Regional, Rural and Remote Australia in SA, WA & NT

At Fly2Health, we go where no one else goes.

Every day, our clinicians travel by road and air to deliver life-changing allied health services to communities that have historically struggled to access care. It is our mission, our purpose, and the reason we exist.

As demand for our services continues to grow, so does our footprint across Australia.

This is a newly created leadership opportunity designed to support the next stage of Fly2Health’s journey. As Clinical Director, you will take ownership of one of our fastest-growing regions, leading our Team Leaders and multidisciplinary clinicians while helping shape the future of healthcare delivery across South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

Reporting directly to the Chief Clinical Officer, you will play a pivotal role in growing capability, strengthening leadership, driving clinical excellence, and ensuring Fly2Health remains both the employer of choice and provider of choice within the communities we serve.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced healthcare leader who wants to build something meaningful, create lasting impact, and leave a legacy across an entire region.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for leading and supporting a growing team of Team Leaders, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists and other allied health professionals across NT, WA & SA.

As Fly2Health expands, you will be instrumental in identifying opportunities, attracting great people to the business, and building the leadership structures required to support sustainable growth.

This is a role for someone who enjoys balancing people leadership, clinical excellence, operational performance, business growth and strategic thinking.

You won’t simply inherit an amazing team. You’ll help continue to build the careers of our current clinicians while expanding the team and communities we service across WA, SA & NT. How Exciting!

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a multidisciplinary region across SA, WA and NT.
  • Directly support and develop Team Leaders to build highly engaged, high-performing teams.
  • Drive clinical quality, governance, safety and exceptional client outcomes.
  • Create an environment where clinicians thrive, grow and stay.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract and recruit outstanding clinicians and leaders.
  • Support expansion into new communities and service locations.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, healthcare providers and community partners.
  • Champion Fly2Health’s values, culture and mission across your geography.
  • Drive operational performance, accountability and service excellence.
  • Partner with the Chief Clinical Officer to execute strategic priorities and growth initiatives.

What Success Looks Like

  • Communities receive consistent access to high-quality allied health services.
  • Team Leaders are empowered, capable and developing future leaders beneath them.
  • Clinicians are engaged, supported and performing at their best.
  • Clinical excellence and governance remain at the centre of everything we do.
  • Your region continues to grow sustainably through strong leadership and execution.
  • Fly2Health becomes the first choice for clinicians looking to build meaningful careers in regional healthcare.
  • New opportunities are identified, explored and successfully implemented.

Why This Role Is Different

Most leadership roles focus on maintaining what already exists. This role is about helping build we have and what comes next. You’ll join a business that is experiencing significant national growth, with active recruitment occurring across your region and beyond. You’ll have the opportunity to influence who joins the team, develop future leaders, expand services into new communities, and help shape the future direction of Fly2Health.

What You’ll Bring

  • Allied Health qualification and current AHPRA registration (or relevant professional registration).
