THE ROLE

The Hose Assembly & Workshop Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the workshop in Forrestdale, ensuring the efficient assembly of hoses and adherence to quality standards. This role is crucial for maintaining production schedules and fostering a safe and productive work environment. The supervisor will lead a team, manage resources, and implement best practices to enhance productivity and quality in the manufacturing process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the hose assembly team to ensure timely production.
• Monitor quality control processes to maintain high standards of product quality.
• Train and mentor team members on assembly techniques and safety protocols.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure the availability of materials for production.
• Implement and maintain health and safety regulations within the workshop.
• Collaborate with management to develop and improve production processes.
• Prepare reports on production metrics and team performance.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of hose assembly processes and quality control standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and inventory management.
