Located in Canning Vale, Western Australia, Gerrard Hydraulics is a recognised leader in hydraulic sales and services across all industry sectors. Apart from supplying and servicing an extensive range of hydraulic components from most major manufacturers, we are also the WA distributors for Oilpath Hydraulics, Baker Hydraulics, and Ryco Hydraulics hoses and fittings.

THE ROLE

The company is growing faster than ever before and due to further expansion, we are now looking for a Business Development Manager take us on to the next level!! This is a permanent, full-time position based out of our Canning Vale WA branch with interviews available NOW.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone either with an established or network or someone recently new into Hydraulics who wants to progress their career further with a well-known brand. We are really looking for someone to spearhead growth initiatives, cultivate key partnerships and drive revenue expansion while identifying new business opportunities and fostering client relationships.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grow margin and sales revenue by offering a solution-based service to customers
  • Visit regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities
  • Monitor customers’ changing needs and offer them solutions
  • Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms
  • Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services and products purchased
  • Identify, investigate, and prepare recommendations to secure major accounts

ABOUT YOU

  • Hydraulic hose & fittings experience is essential
  • Proven experience in servicing technical customers
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Have a passion for providing premier customer service
  • A results-driven individual with a proactive approach to sales.
