Flintwood Disability Services is seeking an experienced and proactive HR and Training Officer to support the delivery of effective human resources and workforce development initiatives across the organisation.
This position requires a highly organised and motivated individual who can effectively manage competing priorities, build positive working relationships and support employee development across multiple locations. You will collaborate with leaders, managers and employees to deliver training programs, support day-to-day HR activities and contribute to a positive and compliant workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate and deliver employee training and development programs
- Identify training needs through consultation with managers, employee feedback and performance data
- Create and maintain training materials, resources and Learning Management System content
- Facilitate training sessions using a variety of delivery methods
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements where required
- Coordinate employee inductions and probationary review processes
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate employee records, training documentation and HR systems
- Support compliance activities, audits and reporting requirements, ensuring adherence to employment legislation and NDIS standards
- Assist with HR projects, organisational initiatives and continuous improvement activities
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Human Resources or equivalent
- Experience in both Human Resources and Training functions
- Experience designing, coordinating and delivering training programs
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to build positive working relationships with employees and stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HR systems and learning management platforms
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
